Operating principle

The Exinda 20kW monoblock heat pump absorbs thermal energy from outdoor air through a large-surface evaporator, even at temperatures well below zero. The DC inverter compressor raises the temperature of the R290 refrigerant, which transfers heat to water through a plate heat exchanger inside the unit. The installer connects water pipes and electrical cables only, with no on-site refrigerant handling, brazing or leak testing required.

What is needed on site

  • Outdoor unit placement: clearance for airflow, with at least 30 cm clearance behind, to the sides and above. At 20 kW, the unit is physically larger than the single-phase models. Consider airflow volume, distance from neighbouring properties and noise regulations.
  • Electrical installation: 380 V three-phase, dedicated circuit, circuit breaker 25 A (MOP) (three-pole).
